The Mercoid Series 221/223/224 is a flanged chamber level control for external mounting on high-pressure steam and process vessels. Rated to 1000 psig (69 bar) and 475°F (246°C), it bridges the gap between the Series 211 and the extreme-service Series 251. The external magnet design reduces magnetic particle build-up inside the armature tube, and the choice of snap, hermetically sealed snap, or mercury switch contacts accommodates a wide range of electrical requirements. The 223 and 224 variants offer flanged process connections for higher-integrity installations.
