The Mercoid Series 225/227/228 is a flanged chamber level control with an exceptionally wide adjustable deadband of 12 to 24 inches. This large differential between the high and low level set points eliminates nuisance cycling in applications with turbulent liquid surfaces or where a wide operating range is required. Rated to 1000 psig (68.9 bar) and 475°F (246°C), the Series 225 is ideal for surge tanks, large process vessels, and boiler drum applications where conventional narrow-deadband controls would cycle excessively. Hermetically sealed switches and explosion-proof housings are available. The 227 and 228 variants offer flanged process connections.
